Lady Blackhawk is going to die

1. Birds of Prey is over, she no longer has a series to call home or a writer who'll protect her.

2. According to the solicit, it'll be a friend of Kate who dies. Kate is a loser who has like, five friends. Damon and Mark are in LA, Cameron's in the Final Crisis Aftermath miniseries that stars Nemesis, and the other two are going to be in Gotham. Huntress is confirmed to appear "Streets of Gotham" if I remember right (and I might not be). That leaves Zinda.

3. Zinda is one of the most brilliant characters ever. She's laid-back and calm and fun, she doesn't take everything as SRS BUSINESS, she gets over things and moves on. Clearly this needs to be fixed.

4. She's a solid C-lister and this is a Batuniverse event. Those things are like pancake batter to a fly (flies drown if they fly into pancake batter!). Just ask:

- Stephanie Brown
- Orpheus
- Harold
- Sarah Essen
- Jack Drake

Sheriff Lamb dies. I feel kind of sad, because he didn't deserve to die, but he was kind of an ass. Oh, confliction! Have you seen it? What did you think of it?

Oh, I've seen all of VM ;) And Yeah, it did kind of suck that they killed Lamb :( The end of the series kind of sucks since it leaves off with the clear intent that they planned on having another season *pout* ah well, as with all good things, they come to an end. I wrote a VM story for what happened at the end of the series (A spanking fic for my good friend, Jet who really wanted to see Logan get spanked :P Her little lust bunny!) But I will try not to spoil the end of the series, let me know when you finish it and your thoughts on it ;)

See, I bet DC hadn't even thought of that, but now that you've brought the idea up...

By the way, how does Kate know Zinda? I can't recall them meeting in her book. Oh wait, BOP, duh! Still, you think they'd kill off another (former) title's character in a different title's backup. I mean, I know DC gets a little kill-happy, but I don't think they'd sink to that low yet (at least, I hope not).

Kate also met Zinda in the (relaunch? continuation? reboot?) #31- of her series, Forgotten parts 3-6.

But I think Zinda's death will be the ZOMG SHOCKER of BFTC. I mean, look at War Games and No Man's Land! C-Listers are doomed! Doomed!

But yeah, their are some things that are sacred. A woman who is just so forward-thinking and relaxed and carefree in comics, AND who was revived in the 90's? That's like a holy grail.

First off: Kate is a loser. I just want to bake her cookies!

Second: I got here through When Fangirls Attack and I just want ask if you are sure Damon is safely in LA. I feel like we didn't see him at all in the issue that jumped forward and I've been spazzing about it since I saw that solicit. I would appreciate it if you could tell me that I'm wrong and my worrying is stupid:)
