I'm starting to learn guitar! It's quite difficult. I'm trying to learn how to play Falling For You, it sounds all wrong but it's really quite fun to try and learn to do. I'm interested in trying to learn piano, but I'm not sure where to begin on that one. Is it possible to learn piano by yourself? What about you guys, flist? Do you play an instrument or sing? How'd you learn?

Also, I can't sing, like at all, but I sing often and with lots of volume. I think I'll join the chorus of the musical this year (Little Shop of Horrors!).

Just for fun, what are your thoughts on vegetarianism, flist? Is it a totally necessary thing that anyone who respects animals should do, or is it something completely ridiculous because they're just chickens? I'm not a vegetarian, but I eat meat rare enough that I could pretty much switch with no problem. Vegetarianism is delicious, though. I have no clue how anyone can like meaty spaghetti sauce over delicious sauce with mushrooms and onions. Seafood can be delicious, especially shrimp (mmmmmmm), but most meat just tastes gross to me.

(I love that after three sentences I go from srs discussion to yummy mushrooms)

Oh! And vegetarianism is way healthier for you. So there's a plus. But it costs a lot. So there's a minus!

It amazes me the lengths some people will go to to be offended.

On a daily basis, I'd have to say a friend of mine, Kelsey, and on a yearly basis, my grandma.

2. What's the last thing you read and loved?

Rainbow Boys by Alex Sanchez. It was sweet, sappy, and I identified way too strongly with Kyle. I also REALLY loved Far From Xanadu by Julie Anne Peters, which was about a girl falling for someone she couldn't have.

3. Who do you most admire?

Barbara Gordon, fictional or not. In real life, though, I have a friend, and she's consistently one of the best people I know, and I truly admire her constant joy and sweet attitude towards everyone.

4. What have you done that you're most proud of?

Starred in "A Christmas Carol", four years ago now. It was hard memorizing the billions of lines, but great times.

5. How have you been awesome lately?

I have, instead of eating chicken-cheese burgers and diet coke for lunch, taken to veggies and water! Woohoo!

I am loving Glee. I'm a bit worried about Mercedes-the-diva and Tina-not-having-lines, but it's the second episode. The music is awesome and it's consistently laugh-out-loud hilarious. I'm trying out for my school play for the first time in like four years due in no small part to this show.

I also have a giant crush on Cory Monteith. Seriously, I think we're getting married next week or something. Fandom is getting me disappointed here. All the fic is either femslash (which would actually be a lovely way to end the triangle) or Finn/Rachel. I WANT SOME WINN FIC DAMMIT. Or hell, even Finn/Curt. I have 55 issues of Young Justice in my room. When I sleep, I can hear them whispering in my ear, read me. I am limiting myself to 2 a day maximum so they last for a month. Because ZOMG, the second issue has Robin and an alternate universe god trying to get a car that the god imprinted his personality on to come to them like a dog :D . And also lots of meta-jokes. Oh, PAD <3 . Should I ask him if I can post this one panel that Scans Daily ABSOLUTELY needs?

Also, for fun, what fictional things have made you cry weep manly tears fill your eyes with a fluid resembling tears? For me, it's:

- The scene in Pokémon where Ash dies.
- The scene in Runaways vol 2 where Gert dies in Chase's arms, never getting to say I love you ;_;
- RENT. I had to stop watching it around the time a certain character died because I went all "THIS IS TOO BLEAK -eject-", and then I started watching it another time. Then, at the funeral, when Collins' is singing and crying and Joanne's filled with tears and she bursts out "WITH A THOUSAND SWEET KISSES" I got all misty.
- Cass OYL, but that was due to frustration and anger and more like when you get so pissed at someone and choked up that your eyes are a bit watery then due to any talent on the writer's part.
- The Lion King (I WAS LIKE 5 OKAY)
- That scene in Cardcaptor Sakura when Sakura and Li are having this EPIC BATTLE over THE LOVE OF YUKITO was from laughter, though.

So I finished Ms. Marvel vol 1: Best of the Best.. I feel like THAT'S me - like I'm not living up to my potential. Like I CAN be the person everyone wants to be, I can be the best of the best, y'know? It's very clichéd of me, but IDGAF.
